One of the best value courses in the entire East Valley. Well-maintained, great layout, and extremely popular with locals. Morning rounds starting as low as $24 make this the undisputed value king of the valley.
City-owned, flat, walkable, and one of the cheapest quality rounds in the valley. Afternoons as low as $29. Great for a casual round without stressing the wallet.
Tom Weiskopf-designed course in the Ahwatukee Foothills with mountain views and a great layout. Slightly pricier but worth every dollar for the quality. Morning rounds start around $69.
Bill Phillips-designed course with 7 serpentine lakes, rolling fairways, and fast-breaking greens. At 6,716 yards with a Slope of 132, it's a legit challenge. Drops to $44 after 3:30 PM.
City of Tempe course right on the Mesa/Tempe border. Solid layout, great condition for the price, and very accessible. Late afternoon around $43–$55.
Solid South Mountain area course with good value and well-maintained conditions. Mornings and afternoons in the $40–$55 range. Great option if you're in the south Phoenix/Ahwatukee corridor.
Greg Nash-designed course and one of the best public tracks in Mesa. Challenging layout with Superstition Mountain views. Twilight after 2 PM drops to $55–$65. Book early — this one fills up.
Classic Scottsdale layout with mature trees and well-maintained conditions. Afternoons around $59–$79. One of the best value plays in Scottsdale. The Pine Course is right next door.
Newer-feel course with excellent greens and a great layout. Afternoons in the $40–$55 range. Strong reviews and solid value for the quality you're getting.
Old Scottsdale classic — flat, walkable, and affordable for the zip code. Afternoons around $45–$55. Great for a relaxed round without the resort price tag.
A genuine Phoenix gem. Stunning red rock backdrop, excellent layout, and one of the best public courses in the city. Midday/afternoon rounds around $65–$75. Highly recommended if you want a memorable round.
Scenic course with lakes throughout, solid condition, and friendly staff. Afternoons drop to the $40–$50 range. Good bang for the buck and a relaxed vibe.
After 2–3 PM in late April/May, prices drop hard and the courses are way less crowded. That's where the real deals are.
Western Skies ($24 mornings) and Dobson Ranch ($29 afternoons) are the cheapest quality rounds in the valley right now.
The Legacy Golf Club and Papago Golf Course are the standouts if you want a memorable, well-conditioned round without paying resort prices.
